Last week, the 49ers threw the ball early. That opened up their offense and allowed Gore to break through holes. The 49ers have to get the crowd out of it early with first downs. Shaun Hill should be asked to do a lot more than the first two games.
With a team as talented as the Vikings, the 49ers must prevent them from getting good field position. And the same thing goes for the 49ers offense, they need to get .good field position. The best way to jumpstart an offense is to score early. And with the 49ers offense, a short field will make things a lot easier for them.
